A method of producing a catalyst for use in a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction. The method comprises the steps of: impregnating a catalyst support material with an active cobalt catalyst component to form a catalyst precursor; and calcining the catalyst precursor in an atmosphere of a dry calcining gas.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'un catalyseur destiné à être utilisé dans une réaction de synthèse de Fischer-Tropsch. Le procédé consiste: à imprégner une matière de support de catalyseur par un composant catalytique de cobalt actif pour former un précurseur de catalyseur; et à fritter le précurseur de catalyseur dans une atmosphère d'un gaz de frittage sec.
