Highly resilient flexible polyurethane foams are prepared by reacting a) organic polyisocyanates and/or modified organic polyisocyan- ates with b1) relatively high molecular weight compounds having at least 2 reactive hydrogen atoms, preferably polyether polyols, b2) if required, low molecular weight chain extenders, b3) flameproofing agents, b4) blowing agents, b5) catalysts, and, if required b6) assistants and/or additives, by a process in which component b1) contains from 1 to 20% by weight, based on the total weight of components b1 to b6, of a high molecular weight polyether alcohol with an aromatic amine as an initiator.
