PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention a trait à un procédé de préparation d'inoculums à faible activité de l'eau ayant une longue viabilité et une résistance améliorée à la température et à la réhydratation. Le procédé selon la présente inven- tion se caractérisé en ce que après inclusion du micro-orga- nisme dans un gel de polymère l'on abaisse et on maintient l'activité de l'eau dans l'inoculum en-dessous de 0,1 et que la réhydratation est favorisée par la présence du gel et de la source hydrocarbonée présente dans le milieu. Ce procédé s'applique au préenrobage des graines et à l'inoculation du sol.
