A one-pack irrigating solution preparation for ocular surgery of cataract, intraocular lens implantation, glaucoma, vitrectomy or penetrating keratoplasty, which is excellent in the protection of ocular tissues and corneal endothelial cells during and after the surgery and has a high in a living body safety. This preparation comprises an aqueous solution containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of D-3-hydroxybutyric acid and its salts, bicarbonates, and calcium glycerophosphate and is stable under severe temperature conditions.
