ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE PREPARATION OF N-ALKYL TEREPTHALAMATES A process for preparing N-alkyl terephthalamates is disclosed and comprises contacting with a liquid phase reaction medium a di(C1-C4 alkyl) terephthalate and a C8-C30 primary or secondary monoamine in the presence of 0.1-10 weight percent based on the weight of the reactants of boric acid.
