This invention relates to water-dispersible phthalocyanine pigment formulations that are mixtures of (a) about 60 to about 99.5% by weight, based on the total amount of components (a) and (b), of a conditioned metal phthalocyanine pigment, and (b) about 0.5 to about 40% by weight, based on the total amount of components (a) and (b), of a water-insoluble sulfonated phthalocyanine having the formula Pc(SO2OR)x (I) wherein Pc represents a phthalocyanine moiety; R is H or M, wherein M is a monovalent metal, divalent metal, trivalent metal, or ammonium cation, and x is a from about 0.2 to about 4.
