In the method proposed for the production of copolymers of tetrahydrofuran and 2-butine-1,4-diol by the catalytic polymerization of tetrahydrofuran, the polymerization is carried out over a heterogeneous acid catalyst having acid centres with a pKa-value of < +2, the concentration of the catalyst being at least 0.005 mmol/g, in the presence of 2-butine-1,4-diol. In particular, to produce polyoxytetramethylene glycol, the copolymers are reacted in the presence of hydrogen over a hydrogenation catalyst.

Dans la production de copolymères par polymérisation catalytique de tétrahydrofurane à partir de tétrahydrofurane et de 2-butin-1,4-diol, la polymérisation s'effectue sur un catalyseur acide hétérogène, lequel possède des centres d'acide avec un indice d'acidité pK¿a? < +2, la concentration du catalyseur étant d'au moins 0,005 mmol/g, en présence de 2-butin-1,4-diol. Pour la production de polyoxytétraméthylèneglycol, on fait notamment réagir les copolymères sur un catalyseur d'hydrogénation en présence d'hydrogène.
