ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a method of preparing an aqueous suspen- sion of a compound of the formula Formula I Image in which X and Y may be the same or different and each represent an amino or substituted amino group, which method comprises deflocculating an aqueous mixture containing the compound of formula I in flocculated form. It also relates to the product of this process. The stable dispersions of the fluorescent whitening agent produced by this invention have been shown to possess great stability and maybe stored in excess of 6 months without appreciable sedimentation.
