The present invention relates to a prepreg which is free from the phenomenon that air is trapped between layers to generate voids, has good handling characteristics and can produce molded articles having any complicated shape and also relates to a method of producing the prepreg. A reinforced-fiber sheet is impregnated with a matrix resin so as to form a continuous resin layer at least in the inside thereof, and then, a protective film having an irregular surface is applied to at least one surface of the reinforced-fiber sheet impregnated with the matrix resin such that the irregular surface faces the reinforced-fiber sheet. In this state, the prepreg is allowed to leave at 30 to 60°C under the atmosphere for 12 hours or more. The resulting prepreg (1) is provided with a continuous resin layer (3a) which exists therein, wherein at least one surface of one side of the prepreg is constituted of a resin-impregnated part (3b) where the impregnated resin substantially exists and a fiber part (2a) where no resin substantially exists.

L'invention concerne un préimprégné et un procédé permettant de le fabriquer et d'empêcher la production de poches par piégeage d'air entre les couches lorsqu'un produit formé est fabriqué par laminage des préimprégnés. Il offre une facilité de manipulation et permet de fabriquer le produit créé quelle que soit la complexité de sa forme. Le procédé consiste à imprégner une feuille renforcée d'une résine d'enrobage de façon à au moins y former une couche de résine continue, à coller la surface irrégulière d'un film protecteur à surface irrégulière au moins sur une surface de la feuille renforcée trempée avec de la résine, la surface irrégulière regardant la feuille renforcée, à laisser la feuille à l'air libre à une température de 30 DEG C à 60 DEG C pendant au moins 12 heures. Le préimprégné (1) ainsi obtenu comprend une couche de résine continue (3a) et des parties imprégnées de résine (3b) où la résine d'imprégnation est sensiblement présente ainsi que des parties fibreuses (2a) sensiblement exempte de résine formées au moins sur une de ses surfaces.
