A prepreg can be obtained by impregnating a base paper with a heat-curing resin free from formaldehyde, the prepreg exhibiting a residual moisture content of 2 to 4 % by weight after drying, the resin of the prepreg being non-crosslinked and exhibiting a degree of crosslinking of maximum about 85 % in the case of thermal treatment of the prepreg over a period of about 40 seconds at about 132 °C.

L'invention concerne un préimprégné pouvant être obtenu en imprégnant un papier support d'une résine thermodurcissable, exempte de formaldéhyde. Selon cette invention, ce préimprégné présente, une fois séché, une humidité résiduelle de 2 à 4 % en poids ; la résine dudit préimprégné est non réticulée et, dans le cas d'un traitement thermique du préimprégné sur une durée d'environ 40 secondes à environ 132 DEG C, cette résine présente un taux de réticulation maximal d'environ 85 %.
