A method of preserving a biological material includes the steps of providing at least one fiber-forming material, mixing at least one biological material, and optionally, one or more additives, to the at least one fiber-forming material to form a mixture, and forming at least one fiber from the mixture, wherein the resulting fiber has a diameter between 0.3 nanometers and about 25 microns. A biological material preserved by this method is also disclosed.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de conserver un matériau biologique, ce procédé consistant: à fournir au moins un matériau de formation de fibres; à mélanger au moins un matériau biologique, et facultativement au moins un adjuvant, avec le matériau de formation de fibres, de sorte à former un mélange; et à former au moins une fibre à partir de ce mélange, la fibre résultante présentant un diamètre compris entre 0,3 nanomètre et environ 25 microns. L'invention concerne également un matériau biologique conservé par ce procédé.
