This invention concerns a press and a method in particular for the forming of finished articles, such as containers or trays of paper and starting from a moisturized sheet. The press comprises a bedplate (18) having a fixed die holder plane (19) holding a head (20) with a moving die-holder plane (21) movable with regards to the fixed plane between an opening and a closing position. A lower die (22) is attached to the fixed die-holder plane, whereas an upper die (23) is attached to the moving die-holder plane. The moving die-holder plane is powered by an electric actuator (29) for the opening and closing movements and the half-dies are provided with heating means for the drying and hardening of the paper in a set closed position. The moving die-holder plane can be slowed down or stopped during its stroke to allow for the drying of the paper.
Cette invention concerne une presse et un procédé destinés en particulier au formage de produits finis tels que des contenants ou des plateaux en papier, ce formage étant effectué à partir dune feuille humidifiée. Ladite presse possède un socle (18) équipé dun plan de support de filière immobile (19) qui soutient une tête (20). Cette tête (20) comporte un plan de support de filière mobile (21) qui peut se déplacer par rapport audit plan immobile entre une position ouverte et une position fermée. Une filière inférieure (22) est fixée au plan de support de filière immobile, et une filière supérieure (23) est fixée au plan de support de filière mobile. Ledit plan mobile est alimenté par un actionneur électrique (29) qui assure les mouvements douverture et de fermeture, et les demi-filières (22, 23) sont munies de moyens chauffants grâce auxquels le papier peut sécher et durcir lorsque la presse est maintenue en position fermée. Le mouvement du plan de support de filière mobile peut être ralenti ou stoppé afin de permettre au papier de sécher.
