The invention relates to a press for dewatering a humid substance, in particular residual refuse. Said press comprises a screw conveyer, which is used to mechanically compress the residual refuse. The humid substance is exposed to a drying medium, preferably to compressed air or a vacuum, whilst being transported by the screw conveyer, in such a way that the humidity is evacuated from the press.

L'invention concerne une presse pour déshydrater une substance humide, en particulier des déchets résiduels. Cette presse comprend une vis sans fin par l'intermédiaire de laquelle les déchets résiduels peuvent être comprimés mécaniquement.
