A press section in a machine for manufacturing a web (1) of fibrous material, comprising a shoe press with extended press nip, said shoe press having a counter roll (2) with a cylindrical press body (6); a press shoe (3) with a concave surface for cooperation with the press body (6); an impermeable belt (4) running through the press nip in sliding contact with the press shoe (3); a clothing (5) running in a loop around guide rolls and through the press nip in contact with the web, and being capable of receiving and carrying liquid along with it; a movable heat transfer means (9) for continuous transfer of heat to the web in the extended press nip; and a heat source (10) for heating the heat transfer means (9). According to the invention the counter roll comprises a sleeve that forms said heat transfer means (9) and encloses the press body. The invention also relates to a shoe press, a press section with a roll press, and treatment sections with roll and shoe calenders with sleeves of the type described.

L'invention concerne une section presse dans une machine produisant une bande (1) de matériau fibreux. Cette section presse comprend une presse à sabot présentant une zone de pincement étendue, la presse à sabot comprenant un contre-rouleau (2) à corps (6) de presse cylindrique, un sabot (3) de presse présentant une surface concave de manière à coopérer avec le corps (6) de presse cylindrique, une courroie (4) imperméable passant à travers la zone de pincement de manière à glisser sur le sabot (3), une garniture (5) en boucle passant autour des rouleaux de guidage et à travers la zone de pincement, en contact avec la bande, capable de recevoir et de transporter un liquide, des moyens (9) mobiles de transfert thermique permettant un transfert continu de chaleur vers la bande à l'intérieur de la zone de pincement étendue, et une source (10) de chaleur permettant de chauffer les moyens (9) de transfert thermique. Selon l'invention, ces moyens (9) de transfert thermique sont formés par un manchon qui entoure le corps de presse du contre-rouleau.
