ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A presser foot for a concealed slide fastener has a first sole plate having in its first sole a pair of spaced grooves each receptive of one of the rows of element of the slide fastener, a second sole plate having a second needle hole at one side thereof and a second sole which is at an angle to the first sole, and a bell crank supporting on its arms the first and second sole plates and pivotally mounted on a stem which can be attached to the presser bar of a sewing machine. The bell crank is pivotable between and lockable in a first position in which the first sole is substantially at a right angle to the stem and a second posi- tion in which the second sole is substantially at a right angle to the stem.
