A method of heating a pressure and temperature swing adsorption gas filtration bed unit is provided comprising locating a heating means upstream of the adsorbent material within the filtration bed characterised in that the heating means acts to heat gas passing into the bed or a layer thereof in the purge direction and uses the heated air to heat the adsorbent material.

On décrit un procédé de chauffage d'un lit de filtration de gaz par adsorption modulée en pression et en température, ce procédé consistant à placer des moyens de chauffage en aval du matériau adsorbant, à l'intérieur du lit de filtration, et étant caractérisé en ce que les moyens de chauffage chauffent le gaz qui passe à l'intérieur du lit ou d'une couche de celui-ci, dans la direction de purge, et utilisent l'air chauffé pour chauffer le matériau adsorbant.
