A pressure equalization apparatus for decreasing or eliminating the pressure differential between the internal pressure within a sealed system and the external ambient air pressure while concurrently sustaining a dry atmosphere inside the enclosure. The apparatus includes a variable volume chamber coupled in fluid communication with the sealed system and adapted to change its volume as in relation to the pressurization of the sealed system. Gas flowing between the seated system and the variable volume chamber, as the pressurization changes, is exposed to an adsorbent operative for dehumidifying the exchanged gas.
Un appareil d'équilibrage de pression pour abaisser ou supprimer la différence de pression entre la pression interne d'un système étanche et la pression d'air ambiante externe, tout en maintenant simultanément une atmosphère sèche à l'intérieur de l'enceinte. L'appareil comprend une chambre de volume variable en communication libre avec le système étanche et adaptée pour modifier son volume en fonction de la mise sous pression du système étanche. Un gaz en circulation entre le système étanche et la chambre de volume variable à mesure que change la mise sous pression est exposé à un matériau adsorbant servant à déshumidifier le gaz remplacé.
