ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pressure reducing valve assembly comprising a main valve and a pilot valve, a cylindrical chamber of said main valve, which has annular grooves provided with an inlet port, an outlet port, and a return port, respectively, accommodating therein a slidable spool, so that a pilot chamber opening into said outlet is formed at one end of said spool while a control chamber is formed at the end thereof, said inlet port of the main valve being connected with that of said pilot valve by way of a passage while the control chamber is connected with the outlet port of said pilot valve.
