A pressure relief valve has a body (12) including a chamber (12e) having an inlet port (12g) and an outlet (12k), the inlet port (12g) providing fluid communication between the chamber (12e) and the passageway. A guide (14) is removably secured to the body (12) and defines a bore (14e) extending into the chamber (12e) and an open-ended portion extending away from the chamber (12e). A spindle (24) is slidably disposed in the bore (14e) between a first position in which the port is open and a second position in which the disc (24b) exposed to the fluid in the passageway is recessed from the internal wall a distance no greater than one half the diameter of the passageway. A spring (32) and adjusting screw (38) are disposed in the open-ended portion of the guide and bears on the spindle (24) for biasing the spindle (24) in the first position while fluid pressure is less than a set pressure.
L'invention porte sur une soupape de sûreté constituée d'une partie corps (12) comprenant une chambre (12e) avec entrée (12g) et sortie (12k), l'entrée (12e) permettant la communication fluidique entre la chambre (12e) et le passage. Un guide (14), fixé de manière amovible à la partie corps (12), présente un calibre (14e) qui pénètre dans la chambre (12e) et une partie à sortie ouverte qui s'étend hors de la chambre (12e). Une tige (24) coulisse dans le calibre (14e) pour passer d'une première position dans laquelle l'ouverture d'entrée est ouverte à une seconde position dans laquelle le disque (24b) exposé au fluide contenu dans le passage est en retrait par rapport à la paroi interne, ce retrait correspondant à une distance ne dépassant pas la moitié du diamètre du passage. Un ressort (32) et une vis de réglage (38) disposés dans la partie à sortie ouverte du guide pèsent sur la tige (24) de façon à l'entraîner dans la première position lorsque la pression du fluide est inférieure à une pression donnée.
