A method of completing a wellbore having a branch wellbore extending outwardly from a window in a parent wellbore is provided. The method comprises positioning a tubular string in the window, wherein the positioning comprises deflecting the tubular string from the parent wellbore into the branch wellbore. The method also comprises providing a particulate barrier outside and against the tubular string proximate the window, the particulate barrier substantially excluding transport of particulate matter from the branch wellbore into the parent wellbore outside of the tubular string through the window. The method also comprises the tubular string passing fluid into the tubular string proximate the window from a formation proximate to the window while substantially excluding transport of particulate matter from the formation proximate to the window into the tubular string.

Linvention concerne un procédé de complétion de puits de forage comprenant un puits de forage ramifié sétendant vers lextérieur à partir dune fenêtre ménagée dans un puits de forage parent. Le procédé consiste à positionner un train de tiges tubulaires dans la fenêtre, le positionnement consistant à dévier le train de tiges tubulaires du puits de forage parent dans le puits de forage ramifié. Le procédé consiste également à utiliser une barrière contre les particules extérieures et contre le train de tiges tubulaires proche de la fenêtre, ladite barrière contre les particules excluant sensiblement le transport de matières particulaires  du puits de forage ramifié dans le puits de forage parent à lextérieur du train de tiges tubulaires via la fenêtre. Le procédé consiste en outre à faire passer le fluide du train des tiges tubulaires dans le train de tiges tubulaires proches de la fenêtre à partir dune formation proche de la fenêtre tout en excluant sensiblement le transport de matières particulaires de la formation proche de la fenêtre dans le train de tiges tubulaires.
