ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pressure sensitive adhesive coated laminate composed of a top facing layer, a continuous interlater of a pressure sensitive adhesive, a bottom release surface, and interposed between the release surface and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a non-continuous uniformly distributed layer of a material which produces a low zero-minute peel value in the pressure sensitive adhesive layer so that the laminate can be easily applied to a substrate and removed and repositioned or straightened, if necessary, and which provides an increase in peel value over a period of time to provide a more permanent installation. The laminate is suitable for use as decorative and/or protective covering as well as adhesive tapes, labels, and the like.
