A pressure adhesive composition suitable for medical purposes comprising a blockcopolymer consisting of or having a major content of diblock copolymer, one or more water soluble or water swellable hydrocolloids and optionally a tackifier resin, said composition comprising from 10 to 60 % of the total composition of a blockcopolymer comprising a monoalkenyl arene component and a conjugated diene component having a proportion of three-block copolymer to diblock copolymer from 3:1 to 1:15, from 10 to 45 % of the total composition of a tackifier resin and from 20 to 65 % of the total composition of one or more water soluble or water swellable hydrocolloids shows improved adhesive properties for application on skin and renders it possible to avoid the use of plasticizers normally used in connection with styrene copolymers in adhesives.
L'invention concerne une composition adhésive autocollante convenant à des fins médicales, qui comporte un copolymère séquencé constitué, entièrement ou en majeure partie, d'un copolymère dibloc, d'un ou de plusieurs hydrocolloïdes solubles ou gonflables dans l'eau, et éventuellement d'une résine adhésive. Cette composition renferme : pour 10 à 60 % de la composition totale, un copolymère séquencé comprenant un composant monoalcényle arène et un composant diénique conjugué ayant un rapport entre le copolymère tribloc et le copolymère dibloc compris entre 3:1 et 1:15; pour 10 à 45 % de la composition totale, une résine adhésive; et, pour 20 à 65 % de la composition totale, un ou plusieurs hydrocolloïdes solubles ou gonflables dans l'eau. Cette composition présente des propriétés adhésives améliorées permettant une application sur la peau, et elle permet d'éviter l'utilisation de plastifiants habituellement utilisés en association avec des copolymères de styrène dans des adhésifs.
