The present invention relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane and a tackifying resin, which thermoplastic polyurethane is derived from an aromatic diisocyanate and/or a cycloaliphatic diisocyanate, a chain extender, and a polymeric diol and/or a hydrogenated polydiene diol and a hydrogenated polydiene mono-ol, and wherein the number average functionality of the diol and mono-ol ranges from 1.2 to 1.8. Further, the invention relates to a thermoplastic polyurethane for use in pressure sensitive adhesives and to articles containing the pressure sensitive adhesives.
L'invention concerne une composition d'adhésif sensible à la pression contenant un polyuréthane thermoplastique et une résine collante, ce polyuréthane étant dérivé d'un diisocyanate aromatique ou d'un diisocyanate cycloaliphatique, d'un allongeur de chaîne, d'un diol polymère ou d'un diol de polydiène hydrogéné et d'un mono-ol de polydiène hydrogéné, la valence fonctionnelle moyenne en nombre du diol et du mono-ol étant située dans une plage de 1,2 à 1,8. Elle concerne, de plus, un polyuréthane thermoplastique conçu pour être utilisé dans des adhésifs sensibles à la pression, ainsi que des articles contenant ces adhésifs.
