ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pressure sensitive composite article which is useful, for example, as an exterior roofing material for a vehicle, is disclosed. It comprises a plastic film which is attached to a backing material which has a substantially continuous coating of pressure sensitive adhesive on its opposite side thereof. A re- lease liner is preferably attached to the adhesive layer on the opposed side to the backing material. The invention also includes a method of affixing such a composite article to a desired sub- strate, e.g., a vehicle, by application of pressure alone, as well as the resulting substrate/article combination.
