A flexible pressure-sensitive food grade wrap film, and a process for manufacturing the film. The film includes a substrate (2) overcoated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (4), a release (6) overprinted on the adhesive (4) that prevents the adhesive (4) from clinging to the surface of an article or to itself without applying pressure, and, optionally, a release coating (12) on the opposite side of the substrate (2). Once pressure is applied to the film, the film flexibility allows the adhesive (4) to contact the surface of the article or itself and subsequently adhere to hold the film in place or to form a sealed pouch around an article. The pressure-activated contact and adhesion to an article or to itself are designed to form a tight, spill- resistant physical bond that seals liquid or solid contents in a container, or forms a sealed pouch around a solid article.
L'invention concerne une feuille auto-adhésive souple d'emballage, de qualité alimentaire, ainsi que son procédé de fabrication. La feuille comprend un substrat revêtu d'un agent auto-adhésif, un agent anti-adhérent surimprimé sur l'adhésif, empêchant l'adhésif de s'accrocher à la surface d'un article ou à lui-même sans application de pression et, éventuellement, un revêtement anti-adhérent sur la face opposée du substrat.
