ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pressure sensitive resistance material and process for making the same is described which is of the type comprising an elastomeric matrix with conducting particles dispersed therein. Im- proved performance and improved ranges of conductivity between the no pressure and pressure range are obtained by coating the conduct- ing particles with a semi-conducting material and/or by carrying out the polymerization of the resin and conducting particle mix under such conditions that polymerization is inhibited in the immediate region of the conducting particles. -1-
