ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A four and one half inch loudspeaker driver is mounted on a vertical baffle that forms one wall of a front tube that is an essentially lossless acoustical transmission line from the front of the driver to a rec- tangular opening in the lower front panel of the cabinet. Another vertical panel depending from the top of the cabinet forms a wall of a rear tube that is an essen- tially lossless acoustic transmission line of rectangular cross section also comprising the first vertical baffle and four staggered horizontal panels, terminating in a rectangular opening in the top front of the front panel. The effective area of the driver diaphragm is sub- stantially one and a half times the cross sectional area of each of the front and rear tubes. The rear tube is substantially three times the length of the front tube.
