Adding to a laundry detergent a resole condensation polymer prepared by reacting bis(hydroxyphenyl)sulfone with formaldehyde in the presence of a base thereby preventing or suppressing dye-transfer and dye-bleeding during laundering of nylon, rayon, cotton, acetate, or whool fabrics is disclosed.
