A preventive or a remedy for intrauterine late embryonic development or pregnancy toxemia containing, as the active ingredient, a phenylethanolaminotetralin derivative represented by the following general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt (sulfate, etc.) thereof which has a remarkable improving effect on embryonic body loss and congestive necrosis in distal portion in the extremities and a remarkable improving effect on an increase in maternal urinary protein level or plasma neutral fat level with lessened fear for the loads on the mother body such as pulsation: (I) Examples of the administration form thereof include tablets, capsules, injections and so on. Examples of diseases to be treated thereby include intrauterine late embryonic development caused by malnutrition and hyperlipemia accompanying pregnancy toxemia.
L'invention concerne un agent préventif ou un remède contre le développement embryonnaire intra-utérin tardif ou la fièvre puerpérale contenant, comme principe actif, un dérivé phényléthanolaminotétraline représenté par la formule générale (I) suivante ou un sel pharmacologiquement acceptable (sulfate, etc.) de celui-ci possédant un effet améliorant remarquable sur la perte de corps embryonnaire et la nécrose congestive dans une partie distale aux extrémités et un effet améliorant remarquable sur une augmentation du niveau protéique urinaire maternel ou du niveau de graisse neutre du plasma avec moins de crainte pour les charges sur le corps de la mère telles que la pulsation. Les formes d'administration comportent notamment des comprimés, des capsules et des injections et les maladies ainsi traitées sont notamment le développement embryonnaire intra-utérin tardif causé par la malnutrition et l'hyperlipémie accompagnant la fièvre puerpérale.
