[PROBLEMS] To provide a medicine, particularly a pharmaceutical composition useful for preventing or treating a variety of diseases caused by infection of a virus of the Herpesviridae family. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The present invention relates to an anti-herpesvirus agent characterized by combining a helicase-primase inhibitor with a polymerase inhibitor. By combining the helicase-primase inhibitor with the polymerase inhibitor having different action mechanisms, the anti-herpesvirus agent of the present invention achieves a dramatically superior anti-herpesvirus action compared with conventional administration of a polymerase inhibitor alone. Therefore, it is particularly effective in a case in which a sufficient therapeutic effect cannot be achieved only with a polymerase inhibitor. Further, the doses of both agents can be kept low, therefore it is also possible to perform treatment by lowering the effect of an adverse reaction to be concerned.
L'objet de la présente invention est de développer un médicament, en particulier une composition pharmaceutique, pouvant être utilisé pour prévenir ou traiter diverses maladies causées par une infection par un virus de la famille des Herpesviridae. La présente invention concerne donc un agent anti-herpèsvirus caractérisé en ce qu'il associe un inhibiteur de l'hélicase-primase à un inhibiteur de la polymérase. L'association de l'inhibiteur de l'hélicase-primase à l'inhibiteur de la polymérase, qui possèdent des mécanismes d'action différents, permet à l'agent anti-herpèsvirus de la présente invention d'exercer une action anti-herpèsvirus considérablement supérieure à celle obtenue avec une administration conventionnelle d'un inhibiteur de polymérase seul. Par conséquent, l'agent se montre particulièrement efficace dans un cas où il n'est pas possible d'obtenir un effet thérapeutique suffisant avec seulement un inhibiteur de polymérase. En outre, les doses des deux agents peuvent être maintenues faibles, ce qui permet par conséquent d'effectuer un traitement en abaissant l'effet d'une réaction indésirable pouvant poser problème.
