An alkyl ether derivative represented by the following general formula [1] or its salt: wherein R1 and R2 represent each a substituent such as hydrogen, halogeno or alkyl; R3 represents alkylamino, amino or hydroxyl; the ring A represents a 5- or 6-membered aromatic heterocycle or a benzene ring; m and n are each an integer of from 1 to 6; and p is an integer of from 1 to 3; shows an effect of protecting retinal nerve cells and, therefore, is useful as a preventive and/or a remedy for retinal nerve diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinal artery obstruction, retinal venous obstruction, macular degeneration and retinopathy of prematurity.
L'invention concerne un dérivé d'alkyle éther représenté par la formule générale [1] suivante ou des sels correspondants, dans laquelle R?1¿ et R?2¿ représentent chacun un substituant tel que hydrogène, halogène ou alkyle ; R?3¿ représente alkylamino, amino ou hydroxyl ; le noyau A représente un hétérocycle aromatique à 5 ou 6 éléments ou un noyau de benzène ; m et n représentent chacun un entier compris entre 1 et 6 ; et p représente un entier compris entre 1 et 3. Ce dérivé, qui présente un effet protecteur des cellules du nerf optique, est, par conséquent, utile comme agent préventif et/ou remède contre des maladies du nerf optique telles que le glaucome, la rétinopathie diabétique, l'occlusion de l'artère rétinienne, l'occlusion de la veine rétinienne, la dégénérescence maculaire et la rétinopathie des prématurés.
