A primary molded bottle body is blow molded with a bottom and tubular lower body blank portion suspended and continuously provided from the bottom of an upper body portion. The upper body portion comprises a mouth tube continuously provided through a shoulder portion to the top end of a body wall provided at the back portion thereof with a handle piece. Only the lower body blank portion of primary molded bottle body is blow molded by biaxial stretching into a lower body portion to obtain a bottle body, so that a large sized bottle body with a handle having the substantially equal strength to a biaxially stretched blow-molded bottle can be obtained.

Dans un moule primaire (1), on trouve une partie de corps inférieure tubulaire (9) suspendue sur tout son pourtour au bas d'une partie de corps supérieure (2). Un orifice tubulaire (8) est disposé sur tout le pourtour d'un épaulement (7) situé à l'extrémité supérieure d'une paroi (3) de corps placée sur sa partie arrière et dotée d'une poignée (4). Ce moule est produit par extrusion-soufflage et seule sa partie inférieure (9) s'obtient par extrusion-soufflage à étirement bidirectionnel, afin de donner une partie de corps inférieure (9') permettant de produire un corps de carafe (1'). On peut ainsi fabriquer un corps de carafe de grande contenance, doté d'une poignée, qui présente une résistance en pratique égale à celle d'un moule obtenu par extrusion-soufflage à étirement bidirectionnel.
