A carboxy- and hydroxy-functional acrylic polymer cross-linked with a polyisocyanate and an amino resin is used as primer for PVC-plastisol. Preferred amino resins are melamine resins, and preferred melamine resins contain imino groups and are alkylated. The primer is particularly useful for steel substrates, more particularly in coil coating.
L'invention concerne un polymère acrylique à fonctionnalités carboxy et hydroxy réticulé au moyen d'un polyisocyanate, une résine aminique étant utilisée comme amorceur pour du plastisol PVC. Les résines aminiques préférées sont les résines mélaminiques, lesquelles renferment idéalement des groupes imino et sont alkylées. L'amorceur est notamment utilisé pour des substrats en acier, et plus particulièrement dans des applications de couchage sur bande.
