By combining raised image lines having a color same or similar to that of a substrate to be printed and lines having a color different from that of the raised image lines, there are provided a latent image printed matter and a method for printing the same which can be prevented from being counterfeited and falsified and which also can be easily distinguished between the false from the truth. By printing lines having a different color from than of image lines forming one of various kinds of patterns having a same color as that of the said substrate and printed on the substrate in raised condition, on the raised image lines at predetermined spaces, there can be provided a printed matter in which letters, figures, etc. can be visually recognized only when viewed in an adequate direction.
L'invention concerne une matière imprimée à image latente utilisant une combinaison de lignes d'image saillante d'une couleur identique ou similaire à celle d'une matière d'impression, et de lignes d'image d'une couleur différente de celle des lignes d'image saillante afin d'empêcher la contrefaçon et la modification de la matière imprimée, et de distinguer facilement une matière imprimée authenique d'une matière imprimée contrefaite, ainsi qu'un procédé d'impression de ladite matière imprimée. Lorsque des lignes d'image linéaires colorés espacés régulièrement, dont la couleur est différente de celle de lignes d'image saillante, tel qu'un motif multi-lignes donc la couleur est identique à celle d'une matière d'impression, sont imprimées sur ces lignes d'image saillante, on obtient une matière imprimée dont les caractères et le motif ne peuvent être reconnus que lorsqu'on les observe dans un sens prédéterminé.
