ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a method of producing a printed textile web material, there is described an improved method of producing a textile web material in which the unprinted side of the printed web of textile material is adhered to a paper web or backing, thereby extending and increasing the uses to which the resulting textile web material may be put, including use as a textile wall hanging or wall paper. In this invention, the steps of contacting one face of a textile web with a transfer paper and the other side of the textile with a paper web coated with a heat activatable adhesive, are performed simultaneously. The application of heat and pressure to the contacting webs results in the transfer of a pattern to one face of the textile and the adhesive of the paper web to the other face respectively.
