ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A printer connected to a platen roller which rotates in normal and reverse directions, and in which a paper sheet is braked by making the peripheral speed of a second pinch roller which repeatedly feeds paper sheets to a printing sec- tion in cooperation with a first pinch roller less than that of the platen roller when the paper sheet is fed so that printing is performed keeping the paper sheet in close contact to the platen roller at all times and mismatching in coloring is reduced.
