A printer having an opening (6) provided on an accommodating portion (4) for a recording rolled paper, wherein the opening (6) is covered by first and second swing covers (11) and (12) which pivot in opposite directions when moving from a closed position in which they are relatively close to each other. The first swing cover (11) has a first guide member (31), and the second swing cover (12) has a second guide member(32). After loading the recording rolled paper (3) into the accommodating portion (4), the first swing cover (11) is firstly closed. Then, the second swing cover (12) is closed so that the label sheet (2) is automatically arranged to curve by passing around the first guide member (31) and the second guide member (32).
