ABSTRACT Apparatus for combining data representative of two or more discrete images to a data representative of a single composite image and for presenting the composite image data to an ionographic print cartridge for the creation of a composite electrostatic image on the drum of a printer for subsequent toning and transfer to a receptor such as paper is described. Discrete image data is stored in Dynamic Random Access Memories (DRAMS) on interchangeable circuit cards. The printer carries a plurality of buttons identified with a particular data feature, such as a font or parts of a form, and an operator can select, using these buttons, different fonts and other parameters stored with the DRAMS for combination to give a composite print image.
