Methods for printing and printing systems are disclosed. The method includes providing a printing system having a laser source for producing a printing beam and directing the beam to a plurality of locations on a material, and/or adjusting a dwell time of the printing beam at the one or more locations so as to form a spot at each location. The method may include providing a printing system for printing a code on a product moving in a direction, and/or printing the code according to a corrected data set. The system includes a laser configured to produce a printing beam, the laser being at most a 25 Watt laser and a housing including a printing beam exit member through which the printing beam exits the housing. The system also includes within the housing an optics assembly that focuses the printing beam on a product that is adjacent to the housing.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes d'impression. Le procédé consiste à fournir un système d'impression ayant une source laser destinée à produire un faisceau d'impression et à orienter ledit faisceau vers plusieurs emplacements sur un matériau, et/ou à régler un temps d'imprégnation du faisceau d'impression en au moins un emplacement de façon à former un repère à chaque emplacement. Le procédé peut également consister à fournir un système d'impression destiné à imprimer un code sur un produit se déplaçant dans une direction, et/ou à imprimer le code en fonction d'un jeu de données corrigées. Le système comporte un laser conçu pour produire un faisceau d'impression, le laser étant au maximum de 25 watt, et un boîtier comprenant un élément de sortie de faisceau d'impression par lequel ledit faisceau quitte le boîtier. Le système comprend enfin à l'intérieur du boîtier un ensemble optique qui permet de concentrer le faisceau d'impression sur un produit jouxtant le boîtier.
