ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for holding an end of a printing blanket on an associated printing cylinder is provided. The apparatus employs an elongate holding bar and bar support which cooperate to prevent damage to the blanket at locations adjacent where the holding bar engages the blanket. The elongate holding bar includes legs in which one of the legs has a projection extending therefrom, the projection being the sole means for holding the bar and blanket against movements tending to pull the end portion of the blanket outwardly.
