-22- Abstract of the Disclosure According to this invention, a voltage signal generating circuit is provided for generating a voltage signal in synchronism with a print timing signal produced when a printing head is driven. A detection circuit detects a power source voltage for driving the printing head. A driving pulse output circuit outputs a driving pulse signal having a pulse generating timing and pulse width corresponding to variations in the power source voltage, on the basis of the voltage signal which is output from the voltage signal generating circuit and detection signal which is output from the detection circuit. A driving circuit is adapted to drive a driving head with a printing timing and printing pressure corresponding to the driving pulse signal.
