ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Printing ink formulations are provided for producing a trans- ferable layer. The inks comprise a pigmentary material or a material possessing predetermined electrical properties, a hot melt adhesive, a solid base plasticiser and a solvent. A novel transfer or decalcomania is also provided. The novel product thus provided combines the benefits of a heat activatable thermoplastic ink and a pressure sensitive adhesive.
