A probe-driving mechanism comprises a bimorph cantilever having a thin piezoelectric substance film and electrodes holding the film therebetween and being supported by a support at one end, and having a probe for information input and output at the other end: the probe-driving mechanism having a first insulating layer between the support and the cantilever, and a second insulating layer at the other side of the support, and the first insulating layer having a sufficient thickness to reduce parasitic capacitance induced between the electrode of the cantilever and the support. A tunnel current-detecting apparatus and an information-processing apparatus comprise the probe-driving mechanism, respectively.
Un mécanisme d'entraînement d'une sonde comprend un porte-à faux bimorphe doté d'une mince pellicule de substance piézoélectrique et d'électrodes retenant la pellicule entre elles et supportées par un support à un bout et ayant une sonde pour entrée et sortie d'information à l'autre bout. Le mécanisme d'entraînement de la sonde a une première couche isolante entre le support et le porte-à-faux, et une deuxième couche isolante de l'autre côté du support, la première couche isolante ayant une épaisseur suffisante pour réduire la capacité parasite induite entre l'électrode du porte-à-faux et le support. Un appareil détecteur de courant par effet tunnel et un appareil de traitement de l'information comprennent respectivement le mécanisme d'entraînement de la sonde.
