A probe derived from phlogogenic bacteria of pneumonia, containing fragments of DNA which streptococcus pneumoniae essentially possesses, and useful for detecting and identifying causative bacteria of pneumonia is obtained by completely digesting the DNA with a restriction endonuclease <u>Pst</u>I, followed by cloning into a suitable vector.

Sonde dérivée de bactéries phlogogéniques de la pneumonie, renfermant des fragments d'ADN propres à streptococcus pneumoniae, utile pour le dépistage et l'identification des bactéries à l'origine d'une pneumonie. Cette sonde est obtenue par digestion complète de l'ADN avec une endonucléase de restriction <u>Pst</u>I, suivie d'un clonage en un vecteur approprié.
