ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is an improved lambda probe for measuring the oxygen content in the exhaust gas of internal com- bustion engines. The measuring sensor in said probe is provided with a catalyst-coated sheathing permeable to gas. In the so- called fat exhaust gas the probe yields a clearly marked signal, by means of which the fuel-air mixture fed to the internal com- bustion engine can be adjusted more precisely.
