An apparatus for use with rechargeable dispensers includes a spray head (12) and a probe (22) connected to the spray head for puncturing reservoirs (30a- 30d) of concentrated chemical. The probe (22) includes a connecting portion (56) for attaching the probe (22) to the barrel (52) of the spray head (12); a disc portion (58), the connecting portion (56) and the disc portion (58) defining a through hole (34); and a shaft portion (62) connected to the disc portion (58) at one end and defining a tip end (64) at another end. The probe (22) may also include more than one shaft portion (62). In one embodiment, a conventional downtube (18) is modified to function as a probe (22).
