A B S T R A C T Plural gas samples are simultaneously collected and the temperature at each sampling point accurately measured by means of a probe which may be inserted into the furnace charge. The probe is constructed so as to facilitate assembly and repair while insuring against relative motion of the various components thereof as a result of imposed vibrations and thermally induced expansion.
