The invention relates to a procedure for supplying and modifying the data required in the control system of an elevator and for displaying the instructions needed for installation, maintenance and adjustment on a display comprised in the control system. According to the invention, the parameter data of the elevator control system and the instructions for each person carrying out maintenance work are stored in a separate storage unit. When modification or maintenance work is being carried out, a communication link is established between the storage unit and the data storage means of a control unit comprised in the control system, the data stored in the storage unit is read and saved in the control unit and the modifications and actions required by the data read from the storage unit are carried out in the control unit.
La présente invention vise d'une part le mode de transmission et de modification des données utilisées par le contrôleur de manoeuvre d'un ascenseur et, d'autre part, le mode d'affichage, sur un écran de ce contrôleur de manoeuvre, des différentes instructions relatives à l'installation, à l'entretien et au réglage du système. Selon cette invention, les données relatives aux paramètres de fonctionnement du contrôleur de manoeuvre de l'ascenseur et les instructions destinées à chaque personne chargée de travaux d'entretien sont stockées dans une mémoire séparée. Lorsque des modifications ou des travaux d'entretien sont effectués, une liaison est établie entre cette mémoire séparée et la mémoire générale de l'unité de commande du contrôleur de manoeuvre, de telle manière que les données stockées dans la mémoire séparée sont lues et mémorisées par l'unité de commande avant l'exécution, par l'unité de commande, des différentes modifications et mesures découlant des données lues dans la mémoire séparée.
