The present invention relates to a procedure for ensuring the operation of signalling channels in a V5 interface between a local exchange (LE) and an access node (AN), said interface comprising at least two links (L), in conjunction with redefinition of the interface composition. Redefinition generally involves making changes in the V5 interface data, such as the location of signalling channels on the links. According to the invention, the operation of protected channels in conjunction with restarting is ensured by starting the protected channels on the channels defined for them in the new composition and/or on the channels to which they were transferred in conjunction with the protection switch-over.

Cette invention a trait à la marche à suivre pour l'exploitation de circuits de signalisation dans une interface V5 entre un centre de rattachement (LE) et un noeud d'accès (AN), l'interface comportant au moins deux liaisons (L), conjointement avec une redéfinition de la composition de l'interface. La redéfinition suppose, d'ordinaire, des modifications des données de l'interface V5, notamment la localisation de circuits de signalisation dans les liaisons. Dans le cadre de cette invention, le fonctionnement de circuits protégés conjointement avec le redémarrage est assuré par le démarrage des circuits protégés sur les circuits définis pour eux dans la nouvelle composition et/ou sur les circuits vers lesquels ils ont été transférés conjointement avec la commutation de protection.
