Summary Presenting a procedure for the selective recovery of solvents from solvent gas mixtures according to which the solvent gas mixture undergoes a sorption process, individual solvent gas fractions are fractionalized desorbed from the sorption agent, are condensed at staggered time intervalls and collected separately. The device to perform the above procedure comprises a sorption plant, a cooling device for condensation, a condensating device, a measuring device for the composition and/or the quantity of the desorption gas and/or solvent condensate, a switching- and distribution device for the solvent condensate and collecting tanks for the individual condensed solvent fractions.
